Leadership

Larry is our Creative Arts Minister. He has been on staff at Southwest since 2009 and holds degrees from Northern Kentucky University and Liberty University.

Larry and his wife, Amy, have five children--Sarah, Brayden, Noah, Sam, and Tyler--who can often be seen running the halls of Southwest! Larry has passions for all things music, Star Wars, and the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Andrew is our Executive Minister and has been on staff since 2015. He was ordained in 2010 and holds two ministry degrees from Lincoln Christian University in Illinois.

Andrew and his wife, Ashley, have been married since 2019 and have two girls, Audrey and Heidi. Andrew enjoys quality time with friends, reading, writing, work projects around the house, and Americana music.

Tambra is the Care Minister and is the newest member to our staff. She has been a deacon in the church for a number of years and recently graduated with a Master of Ministry degree from Cedarville University.

Tambra has been married to her husband Paul for 33+ years. She enjoys reading and writing, spending time with friends, and attending Christian concerts as often as she can.

Mark is a missionary kid, born and raised in Italy, who’s been passionate about ministry and preaching since a teenager. He has served churches in full time positions in Michigan, Indiana and Virginia and has been in some form of ministry for a total of 49 years. He and Pam have been married for nearly 47 years. They have two sons, two daughters-in-law and 8 grandkids.

Rocky is our Connections Minister. In 2020, he was called to ministry after serving 22 years in the Air Force. He holds an MA in Counseling from Colorado Christian University and an MA in Ministry/Practical Theology from Ohio Christian University. His life’s desire is to “fan into flame the gift of God” (2 Tim.1:6).

Rocky and his wife, Alayna, enjoy keeping up with their three energetic sons. Favorite family hobbies include being out in nature, spending time at the park, playing board games, and eating ice cream.

Nathan is our Student Minister. He is a graduate of Cedarville University and joined the staff in 2018. Nathan provides leadership for our middle school and high school students (grades 6-12).

Nathan enjoys sports, spending time at the gym, and tolerating his two cats. His hobbies also include very deep theology, sarcasm, and all things The Office.

Teri is our Administrative Assistant and Finance Secretary. She is a longtime resident of Springboro and has been with Southwest since the early days.

Teri has one wonderful daughter and she also teaches dance at a reputable local dance studio!

Jenny is our administrative assistant for both kid and student ministries. She moved to Centerville a few years ago from Warner Robins, Georgia. Jenny has spent the last 8 years serving her family as a stay at home mom. During this time, she has also volunteered in the community and the church. She is passionate about the lives of young people being changed by the love of Jesus.

She and her husband David were married in 2012 and have two children, Maddy and Declan. In her free time Jenny loves to travel, read, and no matter where she lives will always be a Georgia Bulldog fan.

Tammy is our Kids Minister.  In 2014, she was called to ministry after being a first grade teacher for six years.  She loves Jesus and being a witness to the amazing things that children can teach us about faith and grace.

She and her husband, Greg, have two kids--Dean and Zoe.
