.
Accept your need for Jesus Christ to be your Savior.
(ACCEPT)
. . . for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of
God. Here is a trustworthy
saying that deserves full
acceptance: Christ Jesus
came into the world to save
sinners--of whom I am the
worst.
(Romans 3:23; 1 Timothy
1:15)
Believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
(BELIEVE)
For God so loved the world that he
gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him
shall not perish but have
eternal life.
Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I
preached to you, which you
received and on which you
have taken your stand.
By this gospel you
are saved, if you hold
firmly to the word I
preached to you. Otherwise,
you have believed in vain.
For what I received I
passed on to you as of first
importance: that Christ died
for our sins according to
the Scriptures, that he was
buried, that he was raised
on the third day according
to the Scriptures.
(John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
Confess your faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
(CONFESS)
“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also
acknowledge him before my
Father in heaven.”
That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is
Lord," and believe in
your heart that God raised
him from the dead, you will
be saved.
(Matthew 10:32; Romans 10:9)
Decide to turn (repent) from self-directed life to Christ-directed life.
(REPENT)
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be
wiped out, that times of
refreshing may come from the
Lord.
Godly sorrow brings repentance that
leads to salvation and
leaves no regret, but
worldly sorrow brings death.
(Acts
3:19; 2 Corinthians 7:10)
Embrace God’s free gift of salvation by trusting Christ in baptism.
(BE BAPTIZED)
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but
whoever does not believe
will be condemned.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of
you, in the name of Jesus
Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins. And you will
receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit.”
. . baptism that now saves you
also--not the removal of
dirt from the body but the
pledge of a good conscience
toward God.
It saves you by the
resurrection of Jesus
Christ.
(Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 1
Peter 3:21)
